Whiskey · Double Rocks
Old Fashioned
A slow-melting, amber-tinted frame around clear ice.
Ingredients
- 60ml Bourbon or Rye Whiskey
- 5ml Demerara Syrup (2:1)
- 2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
- 1 Dash Orange Bitters
Method
- Combine whiskey, syrup, and bitters in a mixing glass with block ice.
- Stir until chilled, approximately 15 seconds.
- Place a tempered Horizon Gem Cylinder into a double rocks glass.
- Strain the cocktail over the cylinder.
- Garnish with a wide, expressed orange twist.
